Hello, welcome to Rui's commission ToS page

This is a list consisting of some terms of service, if you wish to commission me. It is important that you read them beforehand, as there are some things to keep in mind and that I do not wish to reiterate every time.

If you do wish to commission me, you may do so via either Discord (@ruiderg) or Twitter DMs

I, as the artist, hold the right to decline any commission for any reason. If something comes up after payment has been conducted, I can stop working on the drawing and issue a refund.

You, as the customer, hold the right to request for a refund at any point, however, if the artwork has reached a certain level of progress, I may not be able to refund the full amount, due to the work done.

Ask for updates at any time and I will make sure to provide them as fast as possible. Do keep in mind that, at the moment, I am dealing with quite a bit on my hands, so progress can be a little slow.

Chat with me inbetween updates if you wish. I usually prefer to do so, especially if more details about the artwork can be given as well. Communication is key with art and having as much as possible will help the final product look the best it can be.

Upload the commission on any server, website or channel you wish to, with proper credit given.

Ask for any changes during the sketching phase, as it is done before payment is conducted. This includes major pose changes or even a different character.

Use my artwork for commercial use without my knowledge beforehand. (I will not be charging an extra fee for this at the moment, however, I would appreciate if I was notified about it)

Alter my artwork using generative AI tools of any kind. I hold a strong stance against generative AI of any kind and I will not permit this.

Repost my artwork without giving proper credits (I seriously hope I don't have to explain why)

Ask for major changes after I have reached the rendering phase. This will require a lot more work, especially if it is a complicated design, and I'd wish for everything to be figured out during the sketching phase. Small changes like facial expression or an extra accessory or two are permitted, however, completely different poses or major adjustments to the current one are off limits.

Payment is currently conducted through Paypal. I prefer sending invoices, but alternatives can be used if it is unavailable.

Payment is conducted after the finished rough sketch. From then on the commission will continue to be worked on after the payment.

The prices are what is shown on the commission sheet, however, there are some extras that can be added, for an additional price, those being:

An additional 50% of the base price for each extra character (for example, if you were to order a full body, rendered piece of two characters, it would cost 120, instead of the usual 80)

Backgrounds come with a small additional cost, 5 extra for a simple background and 10 extra for a complex background. Simple backgrounds can consist of abstract shapes or a sketchy scene. A complex background consists of a fully illustrated and coloured/rendered scene.

Alts cost an additional price based on complexity. Each alt counts as an additional charge. A simple colour change in the eyes would be charged differently than a full outfit change, and this will be reflected. Due to how much this fluctuates, the price is discussed in DMs.

I will draw:

SFW, Suggestive or NSFW pieces. I am above 18 and there is no one to stop me from doing so.

Masculine and feminine body types. Keep in mind that I do not have as much experience with feminine bodies as I do with masculine ones, however, I will still try my best.

Anthro/Furry characters. These are my expertise. I may draw humans, however, that heavily depends on their design, and it might be restricted to bara only at the moment. As for robots and mechs, I do not have enough experience with complex futuristic designs yet.

Pretty much any non-overly complex pose or scenario. It might tale a bit of effort to get fully right though.

I will not draw:

Anything remotely related to loli/shota. It disgusts me, and if you came to me with the intent to pay me to draw such things, respectfully, please block me and go away.

On a related note, any sort of similar taboo content, I will not be drawing. Please find someone else.

Any sort of hateful imagery, especially towards marginalized groups. I can draw violence, however, I wil not be doing such things to people who already suffer a ton every day.

Any sort of extreme fetishes (Guro, Scat etc.). Not my thing anf I would prefer to keep it that way.

Anything that may make me uncomfortable, whether it's certain subjects, characters, people etc.
